Making Disciples Formation Day With Dr. Mary Healy: A regional event hosted by Church of the Ascension

Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 9am-10pm OR online worldwide via livestream!

Every Christian is called to be the real presence of Jesus in society. Through our baptismal anointing we have been given Jesus’ authority to minister as priests, prophets and kings in HIM! Yet most Catholics lack the confidence to pray with a person in public, to minister emotional, spiritual or even physical healing to their family, fellow parishioners, friends or co-workers. This day of formation is for all those who desire to learn this important tool of the New Evangelization.

Day includes three talks by Dr. Healy, discussion time, prayer time, Mass and concludes with an evening prayer service (estimated end time 10 p.m.).

What you’ll learn:

  • How we get equipped for our evangelizing mission
  • What are the gifts of the Holy Spirit and how do we activate them
  • How to pray with people for healing
  • How to bring Christ’s presence into ordinary situations

Advanced online registration is required:

  • $40/in-person
  • $30 online live stream
