OUR HOLY WEEK AND EASTER CELEBRATIONS

HOLY THURSDAY, APRIL 9 TH 7:30pm – This celebration begins in a subdued tone. As you enter the commons you are invited to let the Pastoral Council wash your hands as a sign of their service to you, and then let one of the Parish Staff anoint your hands as a sign of our common call to ministry. This liturgy ends quietly and is joined as one solemn liturgy with Good Friday and the Easter Vigil on Saturday. The Chapel will be open for Eucharistic adoration and prayer until midnight.

GOOD FRIDAY, APRIL 10 TH 7:30pm - We continue in a solemn tone gathering in silence and proclaiming the Passion of the Lord Jesus; we are invited to venerate the wood of the cross as a sign of Jesus’ sacrificial love for us. We leave in silence once again. Stations of the Cross 12:00 noon

EASTER VIGIL, APRIL 11 TH 7:30pm - We begin the Vigil in the Worship Center. Into the darkness we bring the light of the Easter Candle accompanied by our Elect, Candidates and Sponsors. We listen to the story of OUR salvation and with the joy of the Easter Gospel, then begin the celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation. A reception for our new members follows in the Ascension Community Center. (No 5:30pm Mass on Saturday, April 11 th)
