Confirmation Sponsor
Discuss, listen to, and share faith with an 11th or 12th grader preparing to celebrate Confirmation Twelve to fifteen meetings on Sunday mornings. Willing to share in a service project with the candidate. Program begins in September; ends after Easter. Must have completed VIRTUS training and background check. Confirmation Stage I Catechist (9th-10th Grade) Leader, Co-leader, Assistant
Commitment from October through May for 1 hour classes per Monday or Tuesday evening.. Requires training and preparation time. Must have completed VIRTUS training and background check. Contact Person: Emmaus II Office 495-1886 ext. 11.
Middle School Faith Formation (Grades 6-8) Leader, Co-leader or Assistant
Lead/Teach 24 one-hour faith formation sessions on either Mondays or Tuesdays from October through May. Requires training and preparation time. Must have completed VIRTUS training and background check. Contact Person; Emmaus II Office 495-1886 ext. 11.
YPFF (Young People's Faith Formation)
Leader - Co-Leader - Assistant Lead/Teach 30 1-hour faith formation sessions on Wed. 4:30pm or 6:30pm afternoons or evenings from Oct. through May. Attend in-service meetings. YPLW (Young People's Liturgy of the Word)
Prayer Leader or Assistant. Lead children in Sunday Liturgy of the Word celebration, Sept.-April. Review program material prepared by planners. Assistant: Assist YPLW leader. Must have completed VIRTUS training and background check. Contact Person: Contact Person: Emmaus II Office 495-1886 ext. 11.
Youth Ministry (YOA)
Young adults, adults and parents willing to help our youth develop their ministry with each other. Sunday gatherings, socials and fellowship events, service projects, retreats and missions. Junior High Youth Ministry - (JYOA)
Young adults, adults and parents willing to help our middle school youth develop a peer ministry with each other. Sunday gatherings once a month for socials and fellowship and Christian formation, service and other activities. Must have completed VIRTUS training and background check.
