Landings - Returning Catholics
Landings is beginning a new session on March 8, 2012.
If you are a fully initiated Catholic who has been away from the church and wish to come home, Landings is a supportive community within which you can ask questions, discuss issues, and deal with difficulties. It is a safe harbour or a landing place for returning Catholics to voice their concerns. To join us, just contact Kelly Klepadlo at 495-2927. It's that easy!
Reflections by Fr. Chuck
Mearly everyone who ever went to a Sunday school program as a child can picture the famous story of today's gospel - the paralytic man being let down through a hole in the roof so that Jesus might heal him. The story may not seem to be so different from the many healings which Jesus did during his earthly ministry. But it is different. The paralytic man did not come to Jesus on his own; he was brought to Jesus by his four friends. He could not have experienced healing had it not been for his friends. So there is the lesson for us.
Do you have a friend who needs to come to Jesus for healing? Do you think the person can do it alone? Maybe you are neede.
