Reflections by Fr. Chuck

Mearly everyone who ever went to a Sunday school program as a child can picture the famous story of today's gospel - the paralytic man being let down through a hole in the roof so that Jesus might heal him. The story may not seem to be so different from the many healings which Jesus did during his earthly ministry. But it is different. The paralytic man did not come to Jesus on his own; he was brought to Jesus by his four friends. He could not have experienced healing had it not been for his friends. So there is the lesson for us.
