Ways and Means Committee Meets 1 st Wed. of Month 6-7pm
This Committee coordinates all community builders and fund raisers, including Parish Breakfasts, Pancake Supper, Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show, International Dinner, Valentine Dinner Dance, Plant Sale, & Parish Family Events. Christmas Bazaar November 1, 2008
Ano ther major fund raiser: over $10,000 annually. Fifty or more crafters exhibit and sell their crafts. This is a one-day event with some set-up and preparation on the preceding day. Your level of support is up to you. We require several people to set up the ACC for the booths; provide direction to the crafters as they arrive; and manage the Raffle for a few weeks preceding the Bazaar and the day of the Bazaar. Cooking Crew

Food Servers
We need Food Servers at most of our functions where food is served. Tables are decorated appropriately for each occasion and clean up the ACC after each function. Contacts: Nancy Genovesi 495-5813
International Dinner January 17, 2009
This is truly a "United Nations" of food. Booths serve ethnic dishes from the many heritages we have at Ascension. Volunteers chair the booths ask for cooks to cook the wonderful foods and serve the patrons as they leisurely stroll through Europe, Asia and South and Central America. Pancake Supper February 24, 2009

Spring Festival May 29-31, 2009
Our largest social event of the year and major fund raiser ($35,000). We need 300 people (kids, adults and seniors) to make this event a success. This is a three-day event (Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday until 4:00pm). Preparation begins in January. Preparation includes planning for games, prizes, raffle, menu, and amusements. Public Relations/Computer Graphics
