High School - Youth of Ascension

Youth of Ascension (YOA) invites all High School youth (9th-12th grade) to join in the fun!


Sunday Night YOA Meetings 6:00 - 8:00 pm (doors open at 5:45pm)

Every Sunday night, we meet to socialize, dive deeper into our faith, and build healthy relationships. We mix ice-breakers and games with learning how our faith is more than relevant in today's modern times. Bring a friend; all are welcome! Please register below.

Sunday Night YOA Summer Movie Night 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

YOA meets on Sundays during the summer to watch movies.

The sacrament of Confirmation is offered to youth currently enrolled in at least the 10th grade and at least 15 years old. YOA Registration is required for Confirmation candidates. Registration Fee: Our fee is based on the number of children per family being registered in all of our PK-HS programs:

  • First child: $65
  • Second child: $25 additional ($90 total)
  • Third child: $25 additional ($115 total)
  • Fourth child & beyond: No extra fee.
  • Child preparing for 1st Holy Communion: $30 additional fee
  • Child preparing for Confirmation: No additional charge

YOA Golf Tournament

May 10, 2024 at Heron Ridge Golf Club


Register today to support our youth.  Participate as a golfer, sponsor, or donor.


All proceeds from the YOA Golf Classic subsidize youth programs, including regional and national conference registrations. This tournament has also funded Church of the Ascension's "Running with Jesus" retreat and other local programming. Thanks to you, our youth are growing in faith and strengthening their relationships with Jesus, each other, and our community.
